Maria (Maryska) Tawroszewicz is a Senior Clinical Psychologist with more than 40 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and children across a wide range of clinical settings.

During her career in Christchurch, Maria worked for the Canterbury District Health Board (CDHB) in the Child and Family Inpatient Unit, the Child Abuse Treatment Team, the Child and Family Specialty Service, and CAF South.

Maria has a particular interest in supporting clients experiencing the effects of trauma, anxiety, and depression. She provides evidence-based, individually tailored treatment, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet each client’s unique needs.

Throughout her career, Maria has also been committed to mentoring the next generation of psychologists, providing clinical supervision to psychology students and interns, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) supervision to other health professionals.

Maria is an approved provider of ACC’s Integrated Services for Sensitive Claims for assessment and treatment, but currently is only avaialble for Specialist Asessments .
