Larnee is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked for the Canterbury District Health Board since 2019. She has worked with adults and youth in both community and inpatient settings. Larnee is currently completing ACC supported assessments for adults and adolescents, in North Canterbury and Christchurch.
Experience
Larnee has experience working with individuals from adolescence to adulthood, and with various psychological difficulties including low mood, anxiety and trauma. Larnee has a particular interest in the understanding and treatment of trauma and is skilled in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Qualifications
Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology
Master of Science in Psychology (Distinction)
Bachelor of Science (with First Class Honours) in Psychology
Memberships
Member of the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists
