I am a registered Social Worker based in Ōtautahi Christchurch, deeply committed to walking alongside kiritaki as each navigates their personal healing journey. My practice is grounded in partnership, respect, and a belief in the inherent strengths and unique abilities each person carries within them. I offer practical, person‑centred support that guides kiritaki to better understand the structural systems that may impact them, identify and lean into their natural supports, and to recognise any structural barriers that may be affecting their overall wellbeing. Together, we explore what matters most to them, map meaningful goals, and work collaboratively to remove or navigate barriers so the path forward feels safer and supported. My approach is trauma‑informed, strengths‑based, and guided by systems theory. I work at a pace that supports safety, choice, and autonomy, and recognises the wider social, cultural, and practical realities shaping each kiritaki’s life experiences. With a focus on honouring the personal agency of each person, we work collaboratively to take steps forward that feel safe, manageable, and aligned with what they desire for themselves.
