Tai is a registered social worker who graduated in 1997 and has experience in statutory and community social services.
He began his career with Oranga Tamariki as a care and protection social worker, then moved into community roles supporting children, families and adult affected by mental health, addiction, brain injury and trauma.
His practice is trauma informed, respectful, strength based, and person centred. I aim to create a safe, inclusive space built on trust and supportive outcomes.
He was born in Rarotonga and raised in New Zealand. He brings a strong understanding of Pacific, Māori, and New Zealand European cultures.
For convenience, hecan meet clients at their home, at a location of their choice or from his office in Mairehau.
