Visser & Associates ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and the Health Information Privacy Code 2020.

We collect personal information you provide directly to us, including:
- Contact details (name, email address) submitted through our website forms.

- Information you share when enquiring about, or receiving, our services.
- Where applicable, health information necessary to provide care, including information relevant to ACC Sensitive Claims.
We do not use cookies to track you across the web. Our site is hosted on Vercel, which may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance purposes.
3. How we use your information
We use your information only to:
- Respond to your enquiry.
- Match you with an appropriate provider.
- Provide and administer therapy, assessments, and related services.
- Meet our obligations to ACC where you are accessing ACC-funded support.
- Comply with our legal, professional, and ethical obligations.
4. Who we share your information with
We do not sell or trade your personal information. We may share information only:
- With the provider you are matched with.
- With ACC, where you are accessing ACC-funded support and where required to administer your claim.
- Where required by law (for example, to prevent serious harm to you or someone else).
- With your explicit consent.
5. How we store and protect your information
Website enquiries are stored in secure Google Workspace systems with access limited to authorised administrators. Clinical records are held by individual providers in line with their own professional and legal obligations.
6. Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Request a copy of that information.
- Ask us to correct information you believe is inaccurate.
- Withdraw consent to our use of your information at any time (this may affect our ability to provide services).

7. Retention
We retain website enquiry information only for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and provide ongoing service. Clinical records are retained by providers in accordance with the requirements of their professional registration body and applicable law.
